Kirisia Forest, one of Kenyaโs oldest state forest reserves, is a vital water tower, home to diverse wildlife and a source of livelihood for local communities. However, deforestation, illegal logging, and wildfires have threatened its survival. Kirisia Community Forest Association (K-CFA) is working to protect and restore Kirisia Forest through community-driven conservation efforts.
